====== Share Links & QR Codes ====== Every gallery has three ways in: a QR code, a link, and a six-letter gallery code. Most guests will use the QR code at the booth. ===== Finding your share options ===== Open the event at [[https://app.imgbooth.photos/pbadmin|app.imgbooth.photos]] and look for the **Share** section. From there you can copy the gallery link or download the QR code as an image file. Download the QR code the week before the event, not the day of. You'll want time to print it. >Suggestion: Print bussiness cards with the event name and QR Code on it. ===== Using the QR code ===== The QR code is how nearly everyone will reach the gallery. Guests point a phone camera at it and the gallery opens — no typing, no app. ==== Making it scannable ==== * Print it at least 2 inches (5 cm) square — larger if it'll be scanned from more than arm's reach * Keep a clear white margin around all four sides * Matte paper over glossy — glossy throws glare under booth lighting * Never shrink it to fit a layout; move something else instead > ⚠️ **Test the printed code before the event.** Scan the actual printed > sign with an actual phone in dim light. A QR code that only scans on a > bright monitor is a QR code that fails all night. ===== Using the share link ===== The gallery link can you used to go directly to the gallery. ===== The six-letter gallery code ===== Each gallery has a six-letter code guests can enter directly. It exists as a fallback for when a QR code won't scan — a cracked screen, an older phone, a guest whose camera app won't cooperate. If you need something people can read across a dark room, run the gallery link through a URL shortener instead. ===== A note on privacy ===== Anyone with the link, QR code, or gallery code can view the gallery. There's no guest login. Treat the link as semi-public. ===== Next steps ===== * [[gallery:slideshow|Put the gallery on a TV during the event]] * [[gallery:downloading|How guests download photos]] * [[gallery:branding|Add your logo or the client's colors]]
