====== Photo Removal Requests ====== A removal request is how a photo gets taken out of a gallery. Guests, your client, and you all submit requests the same way — nothing is deleted directly. ===== How it works ===== - **Someone submits a request.** A guest from the gallery, or you from your own dashboard. - **You're notified.** The request appears in your dashboard and you get an email. - **An imgbooth admin approves it.** - **The photo is removed** deleted from our servers. > ⚠️ **Removal is permanent.** Once a photo is deleted it cannot be recovered. ==== Submitting Request ==== Any guest viewing the gallery can request removal of a photo. You can manage photos from your own dashboard, but selecting a photo for removal submits an approval request rather than deleting it outright. This is intentional — every deletion is tracked, including yours. ===== Handling requests well ===== Removal requests are almost never neutral. They usually come from someone who is embarrassed, upset, or worried about who's going to see a photo. * **Treat them as urgent.** Same-day is a reasonable standard.
