Slideshow Mode

Slideshow mode fills a screen with photos from the event as they come in, newest first. It's built for a TV. This funcion connects to the cloud and requires internet.

Starting a slideshow

  • Open up a broswer on the TV or device.
  • Type in the Gallery Code, ABCEFG
  • Press F11 to put the browser in full screen.
  • Press SPACE to pause

New photos appear automatically — leave it running all night. The slideshow default is single shots, if you would like to display strips, you need to change the url manually

Example: https://app.imgbooth.photos/slideshow/?booth=ABCEFG&strips=1

What to run it on

Device Works well? Notes
Laptop with HDMI Yes Simplest option. Disable sleep and screensaver first.
Smart TV browser Sometimes Varies by TV. Test at home before an event.
Streaming stick Yes Cast the browser tab from a laptop.
Tablet Yes Good for a small display on the booth itself.

<WRAP important> Turn off sleep, screensaver, and automatic updates on whatever device drives the screen. A slideshow that goes black because the computer when to sleep is the most common slideshow issue. </WRAP>

Before doors open

  • Run the slideshow for a few minutes on the actual screen you'll use
  • Check the photos aren't cropped awkwardly on that screen's aspect ratio
  • Confirm the device has proper internet connection. We suggest using your own hotspot
